📅 AP FA-2 Time Table 2025-26 (Classes 1 to 10)

The Director of School Education, Andhra Pradesh has released the official Formative Assessment-2 (FA-2) schedule for the academic year 2025-26. The FA-2 exams will be conducted in October 2025 for all government and private schools under the AP SCERT syllabus.

📘 FA-2 Syllabus Highlights 2025–26

The syllabus is based on the August–September academic period and covers all major subjects:

  • Languages (Telugu, Hindi, English): Selected prose, poetry, grammar, and comprehension units from the prescribed textbooks.

  • Mathematics: Numbers, Addition/Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Data Handling, Simple Equations, Geometry, and more.

  • Science: Components of Food, Materials, Respiration, Force & Motion, Friction, Electricity, and Reproduction.

  • Social Studies: Physical Features of India, Agriculture, Delhi Sultanate, Kakatiya Kingdom, Russian Revolution, Water Resources, and Globalisation.

📊 TaRL (Teaching at the Right Level) – New FA-2 Guidelines (Classes 3–5)

From FA-2 onwards, the TaRL assessment will be integrated with Tool-2 (Written Work) for Telugu, English, and Mathematics. Key points:

📖 English Reading Levels:

🔢 Mathematics Levels:

  1. No Operations

  4. Multiplication

✅ Teachers must record only the highest level achieved by the student in the OMR sheet (Tool 2 section).
✅ The assessment should be oral and stress-free, conducted one-on-one.
✅ Alternate Sample 1 & 2 question sets must be used for consecutive students.


📝 Key Instructions for Schools

  • Question papers must be securely stored — at school complexes for Classes 1–5 and MRC for Classes 6–10.

  • MEOs and HMs must distribute question papers one hour before the exam.

  • Monitoring teams (MEOs, CRPs, HMs) must visit schools to ensure fair and smooth conduction.

  • Any deviations must be immediately reported to higher authorities.
